About Fix Your Run
Meet Your Coach
I’ve spent the past 25 years dedicated to one mission: helping people transform their lives through better movement and smarter training. Your results matter deeply to me, and I’m committed to staying at the cutting edge of fitness and running science to help you achieve your goals.
Education & Credentials
My journey began with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Penn State University (’00), laying the groundwork for a lifelong passion for understanding how the body moves. As an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, I’ve had the privilege of working with clients of all ages and backgrounds, tailoring programs to fit every unique need.
I’m also certified by the United Endurance Sports Coaching Academy, which means I know what it takes to help both new and experienced runners earn their own bragging rights—whether that’s finishing their first 5K, qualifying for Boston, or setting a new personal best.
A Smarter Approach to Training
If you’d like to be the most efficient, least injury prone runner possible, you need access to every joint movement in your body. If you have access to every joint movement, you have options. You can make predictable shapes with your body that allow you to absorb shock and propel yourself forward. If you don’t have access to certain joint movements, you lack options. Of course, you can still get the job done, but less efficiently. The body parts that do move end up ‘working harder’ than they’re meant to, performance potential is reduced, and injury chances go up.
I believe that when you move better at a fundamental level, you run better as a result. Thanks to my education [especially Anatomy in Motion] we can pinpoint your weakest links. Together, we address those issues with targeted drills—so you can feel an immediate improvement in how you move and run.
Why I Love What I Do
Now celebrating my 25th year in this field, I’m more passionate than ever about helping runners break through barriers, overcome setbacks, and build a sustainable, healthy relationship with running. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing my clients rediscover the joy of movement and achieve things they once thought impossible.
